Bells of War headed back to country grade at Mudgee, where she took on a field of open country sprinters. Given a 10 out of 10 ride by Adam Hyeronimus, she settled just of the leaders, presented with a run just before the turn, where then she knuckled down gamely to record her fifth win of her career.

Trainer Con Karakatsanis labeled Bells of War as one of his favorite horses to train, her toughness and heart that she gives every race day start, is just remarkable.
